ABOUT ME

Doaa is a multi-faceted artist from Cairo, Egypt, currently based in the United States. Although she specialize in projection design and directing, storytelling is at the core of all of her work whether in theatre, film, or animation. Doaa's goal with every project is in the questions: What pushes the story forward? And how can we portray that? 

 

Doaa is currently earning an MFA in Projection Design at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale University. In addition to her design work, Doaa's collective experience as an artist first and foremost landed her as the Co-Artistic Director for Yale Cabaret's 56th season. Outside of theatre, Doaa is also a photographer and animator with an emphasis on 3D environment Modeling and VFX. All skills she can adapt for use in Theatre.
